Stamford Bio-Gas

The Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority, (SWPCA) is undergoing a research and development project which will demonstrate that dried and pelletized wastewater residuals, (sludge) can be used as a renewable energy source to generate electrical power. Stamford Mayor Dannel P. Malloy has been instrumental in getting the needed financial and public support for this renewable energy project.
