Stamford Bio-Gas

In continuing to improve our research we plan on looking at the following:

• Hearth size and configuration
• Return motor exhaust to the reactor
• Developing tar removal filter

For the future we also plan on building a full-scale site for manufacturing syngas made from biomass. We are currently in the process of designing a 10 megawatt facility located in Stamford, CT as part of an Energy Improvement District. Not only will we continue our research with downdraft gasification, but we would also like to look into updraft and fludized bed gasification as other possible options. Of the three processes, whichever shows to produce the best quality gas and best quantity of gas will be choosen.
